Movie Night

We bought this new lcd tv a few weeks ago, and hadn't watched a movie on it yet. DH is out of town this weekend and ds was out with friends, so last night I decided to rent "The Holiday" to watch on the new tv. Took me about 15 minutes just to figure out how to start the dvd! This is such a cute movie, I did see it at the theater when it came out, but wanted to see it again. I think it has become one of my "favorite" movies. I love the interaction of Iris and Arthur in the show.

Curly Sticks

I thought these curly twigs would make an interesting photo. They are in a black vase sitting on our fireplace hearth. They have kind of a gold shimmer to them, don't know if it shows in the photo. I laid them on the table to get the second shot because they are really long.

Wine Stopper

I enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings. My favorite is dark red cabernet or merlot, but I like to try all varieties. I bought this wine stopper as part of a set and gave one as a gift and kept this one. I adjusted levels on these (thanks Heather!). Do they look too "adjusted"?
