A couple of weeks ago we went to a performance of The Lion King. The costumes, music and sets were so incredible, but no photography was allowed so here is the cover of the program. I love going to the theatre, but I don't get to go very often. If you ever get a chance to see this show - GO -. It is a "theatrical extravaganza"! I stole that term from the write-up in the program :)

Cats and Phantom of the Opera are playing here. I totally want to go. I missed the Lion King and haven't been to a show for anything in years... hmmmmm... now I'm going to have to go! :)
I'm a musical theater BUFF! Lion King is an amazing performance. You're right...thos costumes are incredible and I was amazed at how simply complex the set was. This gave me a smile today and i like the bright colors!
what a shame you can't photograph without flash....
I would love to see Lion King too, I've heard it's fab!
I went 5 years ago and am still in awe of the show! It was amazing!!
I've heard Lion King is awesome. I'd love to go see it. Would have been cool to get some shots inside the show.
