Playing With Fire

Playing around with shutter speed and tungsten WB setting. All are using a tripod. We have a glass-top coffee table in our living room, and I set these 6 little glass votive cups (a find from TJ Maxx) on it and turned all the lights off. I love the reflection in these and the warm "glow" from the tungsten setting.

This is taken at SS 1/60.

Taken at SS 1/8.

And my favorite... taken at 1.6 sec.
Another angle . . .
A crop . . .

How lovely. Is it just me, or does a warm candle in the dark evoke a strong sense of spirit for us all? Lovely...

I took some photos like that once. But mine didn't turn out nearly as good as yours! Great job! Very crisp and clear!

I love all these! My favorites are #2 and the crop is great. Your banner is awesome, great bee on there (hopefully I haven't been missing noticing it all this time ~ embaressed!)

Can we say, ultra romantic? I'm thinking of doing something like this with Christmas lights for the holidays and framing them as decorations...what do you think?

Thanks for the inspiration and lovely shots!
