Lucky Shamrock Plant

Happy St. Patrick's Day! It is said that St. Patrick, the saint who brought Christianity to Ireland, used the shamrock to illustrate the doctrine of the Holy Trinity to his congregation. Each leaf symbolizes the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit.

Perfect post to post today!! Beautiful shamrock.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes, we spend LOTS of time at our cottage starting as soon as the ice is gone right through to the next freeze-up. Summer is the best!

Nice shot, your color is great and I had never seen such plant...but even nicer is the bit of information you shared. I'm Catholic but never knew the story behind St Patrick other than he had done something in Ireland. Know I know.

TFS!
